All swingarms are manufactured from 7020 grade aluminium. The particular advantage of this is that 7020 regains far more of its original strength after welding than, say, bog-standard H30 aluminium or the lesser 7000 series that most stock aluminium swingrms are manufactured from.

JMC Swingarms Eccentric Chain adjustersEccentric adjusters have three pre-drilled holes to accept 17mm, 20mm and 3/4in dia. spindles. Our Eccentric adjusters can make a difference to the ride height of the motorcycle by a maximum of 16mm from the standard position but many people are rather paranoid about this, thinking that this will influence the handling. In fact it can be an advantage as you may adjust the ride height to your preference or in most cases keep it exactly the same as stock. The ride height adjustment may generally be either above the 3 to 9 o clock position or below this. There are a few bikes that require the adjustment to be either above or below due to restrictions on the rear brake calliper or the chain fouling the swingarm. In these cases adjustment must be made in a direction that eliminates this. Select your choice from the drop down list below and click 'Check Price'. See Also: |

JMC Swingarms 45mm AdjusterThis type of Adjuster is favoured for use where a moderate increase in wheelbase may be required (45mm 1.77in), the forward most position is the same as the forward most position on the standard swingarm. Wheel adjustment is carried out by loosening the large Nyloc nut then turning the 8mm bolt (clockwise) to lengthen wheelbase or (anticlockwise) to shorten wheelbase. As can be seen the adjuster bolt remains inside the adjuster housing in all positions so does not leave an unsightly bolt protruding from the back of the swingarm . JMC Swingarms adjusters for very large increase in WheelbaseThis type of Adjuster is favoured for use where a very large increase in wheelbase may be required (150mm, 6in), the forward most position is the same as the forward most position on the standard swingarm. Wheel adjustment is carried out by loosening the large Nyloc nut then turning the 8mm bolt (clockwise) to lengthen wheelbase or (anticlockwise) to shorten wheelbase. As can be seen the adjuster bolt remains inside the adjuster housing in all positions so does not leave an unsightly bolt protruding from the back of the swingarm. If you require the maximum wheelbase to extend beyond a maximum of 6in / 150mm then we can also offer extended swingarms i.e the actual arm length is 3in longer than standard plus the P150 slots giving you from +3in to +9in of wheelbase adjustment!
